Gomia (Khaber Aajtak) : A Prize distribution ceremony was organized by Pitts Modern School, Gomia on, July 9, 2024, to acknowledge the successful participation of students in two different NCC Camps.
The NCC camps were organised from 3 May, 24 to 18th May, 24 and 24th June, 24 to 3rd June, 24 at Bonga in Hazaribagh and Koderma.
Cdt Deepnita Padhi of junior wing of our school is selected as contender for “Best Cadet” competition for RDC. She got overall third and first position under girls category in firing (.22 Deluxe Rifle) competition.
Cdt Ayush Gupta and Cdt Rishiraj Sharma of junior division, Cdt Rudrani and Cdt Mahima Hansda of junior wing and Cdt Kalyani of senior wing won medals and certificates for dance and ballet competition under cultural category. She also received two medals for her exceptional anchoring skills and also secured 1st position in Thal Sainik Camp.
Four students Shubham Kr Yadav, Raj Kumar Prasad, Krishu Kumar and Himesh Sharma secured medals for grabbing 1st position in Tug of War. Laxmi Murmu and Sweta Soren secured 2nd position in the same category and received two medals. Sahil Paswan, Sujal Kr Bharti, Priyanshu Kumar, Ankur Kumar and Pratik Kumar received medals for their 2nd position in Volleyball.
Commanding Officer of 22 Jh Bn Col. Harmeet Singh congratulated the selected cadets and appreciated the participation and selection of cadets of our school.
Principal Sir congratulated the winning cadets for their exceptional performance and laurels brought to school. Mr Arindam Dasgupta, Vice-Chairman, Gomia School Society and Mr Abhishek Biswas, MCM, Orica congratulated the students and wished them all the best for their future endeavours.
