Gomia (Khaber Aajtak) : In a gala event, organised in the school assembly ground, the students of classes I to V have shown extraordinary choreography and synchronization through different dance form on the theme of ‘Retro Music’ in the Inter Section Group Dance Competition. The event was a resounding success, with each group delivering an outstanding performance.
The competition was organised under Co- Curricular Activity to promote team work, creativity and a sense of unity among students. Through their extraordinary talent, the students have demonstrated an array of spectacular performances, making the judges face the dilemma of choosing the winner.
Winners were selected on the basis of different criteria. Section B of Standard I and II grabbed the 1st position respectively, while section C from standard III and IV clinched the 1st prize. Section B of standard V snatched the 1st position.
Inter House Portrait Sketching Competition was organised for the classes VI to VIII. Students portrayed their creativity and originality through different art form and expressed their enthusiasm and energy. The result of the same is to be announced later.
Principal Sir Mr. M. K. Upadhyay appreciated the hard work and enthusiasm of the students and Mr. Brij Mohan Lal Das (Newly Appointed Principal) has congratulated the winners asking students to participate in more events like this. Mr. Arindam Dasgupta,Vice Chairman, Gomia School Society and Mr. Abhishek Biswas, MCM, IEPL, ORICA, GOMIA, has whole heartedly praised the students for their dedication and encouraged the school management to organize more such vibrant event in the future.
